I just want to remember some fun things about this beach trip and thought I would do a separate post!
1. I WAS there! I am always the one with the camera, and if I don't ask to be in a picture, it doesn't happen! I can verify that I was on this vacation in the next post. We had professional pictures done on Coronado Island by my high school friend, Jill Denny Soto. We had not seen each other since high school!
2. Sophie had her hands on her hips most of the vacation.
3. Sophie's favorite animal at the zoo were the elephants.
4. Scott, Connor and Hayden roller bladed to the beach almost every night as we walked along the boardwalk.
5. I would walk to Sprouts or Trader Joe's for groceries from our house on Felspar.
6. Scott and Phil went to their favorite restaurant on the boardwalk, Woody's, a few times on this vacation. I think it's at life guard station 25, if I remember correctly.
7. Phil treated us a lot on this trip, But, one of our favorite treats was going to the ice cream sandwich shop! There were 2 of these shops, one just off the boardwalk, and one down the street from our beach bungalow. Man were they good!
8. With this being Sophie's first trip to the beach, I know she loved it as much as the boys do. She frequently asks me if we can go to a house on the beach again and eat Starburst ;)
