Beach Bums ~ Pacific Beach, California ~ Boogie Boards and Grandpa

Scott took Connor and Hayden out to ride the waves on their boogie boards. Connor did really good riding in the waves. He did bite it a few times, but always went back out for more. The salt water didn't seem to bother him much. On the other hand, Hayden and one wipe out that shook his nerves! A pretty big wave pulled him off the boogie board and he rolled a few times, getting water logged by the ocean water. He was done for a few days after this and would only jump the waves holding my or Scott's hands.

Sophie got Grandpa out to the water to hold her hand as she splashed in the waves. He loved that she was so open to him from the get-go!

We spent most of the day here at the beach. When we got back to the bungalow, everyone was worn out!
